A Career Built on Real-World Experience
Michael Haddock grew up in West Michigan, attended Ferris State University for his undergraduate degree in business with a concentration in insurance and risk management, then Thomas M. Cooley Law School for his Juris Doctor with a litigation emphasis. After law school, he earned a Master of Laws in Real Estate and Construction Development from the University of Illinois at Chicago — a credential that no other practicing attorney in Allegan or Ottawa County holds.
Before practicing law, Michael spent over 20 years working inside major corporate and insurance institutions — DaimlerChrysler, the University of Michigan, Winterthur Swiss, and a KKR-owned national insurer called Reliance Insurance. He reviewed claims. He set reserves. He understood how large organizations make legal decisions from the inside out.
When he opened Sheridan Haddock PLLC in Saugatuck, he brought that experience directly to his clients. Families negotiating with insurance companies after accidents.
